Bid4Art

During recession, when money is tight and needed for essentials, buying art is one of the luxuries that goes out of the window. It could be said that looking at art will cheer one up during depressing times, but that is no substitute for food on the table.
I have decided to make it easier for anyone to own one of my works. Over the years I have built up a following of very loyal purchasers of my work, and to them I will always be grateful. I have always priced my work on what I consider to be a fair price for the quality and time taken to produce it. As a professional I priced the work and under no circumstances listened to bartering. Times and circumstances have changed and money is more difficult to be found, so I have decided to have a special page in which I can give back to my collectors.
On the Bid4Art page I will periodically be posting original paintings, limited and open edition prints and photographs for sale. The bonus is that you will be given the opportunity to set a price that is within your means. Hopefully this will bring art to a price that you can afford. I will post an image of the work along side two or three close up detaled images. I will also post how much the work would sell for from my studio and the minimum bid that I will accept. Give it a go – you have nothing to lose and you may be surprised. Of course you get my personal guarantee that if you are not satisfied with your purchase you can return it for a full refund. Payments can be made by Paypall or by personal cheque.

To get the ball rolling I am offering a complimentary print of Wastwater. To receive this print put your information in the box below, and then follow the instructions to receive your print.

The print is yours to do with as you wish — print it for your wall, use it as a birthday/christmas/valantines day present. All I ask is enjoy it.
You will also receive my end of the month ezine. Don’t worry, this is not full of adverts for my paintings. I give a few tips about photography and art and sometimes things that I may have a bee in my bonnet about. Read it once and if you don’t like it just press the unsubscribe button in the ezine and you will never receive another.
